hey are u guys like losing ure edge in running cuz for some reason im like gettingh like less competitive more and more and getting more and more lazy and i feel like im slowing down seriously its bugging me like crazy does anybody else feel the asame way or something

Well considering you guys are still in the off season, it's not unusual for that to happen. I mean it's been almost 3 months since you've raced competitively so it's no surprise that you're losing that competitive edge. It's natural to get lazy because there's nothing really there to motivate you. Basically winter training is just to stay in shape so that when the track season does start that Quick can start running workouts instead of wasting a couple weeks to get everyone back in shape. So don't worry about it. Honestly, January, February, and most of March sucks, but after that you'll start racing every week and that's when all the work that you put in over the winter and indoor season pays off.

alright and abotu indoor track how does that work and all with the meets and the practices and that kind of stuff?

What do you mean? It's just like Cross, we meet everyday after school and practice, except meet days where we leave right after school to run in the indoor meets. You'll learn more when the season starts, just show up everyday for practice.

jeff, as perry said, it is extremely similar to cross, we'll practice as normal... for meets, there'll be a sheet up in the board to let you know what events you'll be running, and we'll be running on an indoor track. for practices, we will never run on an indoor track, if you were wondering

Uncalled for. I was honestly just trying to help him out but then you have to go and make a joke out of it. I don't even care if you were joking, but w/e I did on that track and during workouts, I gave everything I had. Unlike you, I was actually doing all the varsity workouts. Oh what were you doing? Oh that's right, you were hurt and busy cross training. So don't talk to me about being lazy. I busted my a**.

easy kevin, not my fault my foot got messed up, cross training sucks you think i enjoyed i? so yea thats definetly a cheap shot knowing there was nothing i could do about it. By me calling you lazy i was referring more towards the summer, not that i went that much either...

I've gotta agree with Soto, cross training sucks, although I dislike the argument in general. But being stuck on the circuit and in the pool for 5-9 weeks definitely sucks.
